Vetroelektrane Balkana (WEBG) is a joint venture between Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company - Masdar (60%), Finnish energy infrastructure developer Taaleri Energia (30%), and DEG, the investment arm of KfW, German government development bank (10%).
Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) is a global leader in renewable energy and sustainable urban development. Masdar was established in 2006 and they are active in more than 40 countries worldwide. Masdar has invested in or committed to invest in projects with a combined value of over US$30 billion, with a total capacity of over 20 gigawatts (GW), able to offset 30 million tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
